zap! bang! Magazine is looking for regular contributors to all of the facets from which it produces articles. We need multi-talented writers who are willing to write visual art exhibition features as well as record reviews, and director interviews as much as film reviews. We’re looking for writers willing to do this all over the world, primarily in English, but also in native languages too. We are also looking for people who can submit at least ONE article per week.

We are one of the most innovative magazines on the web, with a strong aesthetic principle (soon to be re-designed), and a ‘high brow’ attitude to our reviews. We support all of our contributors, adhering to their ideas, providing them with free materials, and of course an integrated publishing system. With a plethora of ideas that are soon to be put into practice, there will be plenty of opportunities for new writers to get involved with other future developments too.

To apply for a role in the magazine, we need a sample review of something RECENT. This may include: record reviews, film reviews, live reviews, book reviews, exhibition reviews or features. Please ensure your application piece is around 400 words long. We also need an idea of what ‘you’re into’, so please provide a short blog on what has enticed you this year in regards to art (music, film, literature are all included).

Applicants who don’t adhere to all the material requested will not be considered for the position.

Please e-mail zapbang@zapbang.org to apply.
