Forwards will take over Bristol's The Downs for another two days of music and discussion, driven by its social initiatives to create positive change on Friday, September 1st and Saturday, September 2nd.
Artists such as Erykah Badu, Bonobo, Goldie, Aphex Twin, Primal Scream, and Arlo Parks will get on stage while ‘THE INFORMATION’ will feature experts, disruptors, creatives, writers and thinkers for discussion and debate.
Last year at THE INFORMATION, Jack Monroe and Jay Rayner discussed the state of food and food poverty; John Barnes MBE and Lawrence Hoo delved into the black experience. More details are expected soon alongside social initiatives such as ‘Capture FORWARDS’ offering young photographers first-hand experience of photography. Four lucky photographers were selected to photograph the inaugural festival last September: Naomi Williams, Megan Tsz Ip, Jade Ayino and Ismael Abdi saw their work exhibited at Bristol's Trinity Centre and have since become full-time professional photographers.
