Bristol’s biggest independent festival, Love Saves The Day, will return to Ashton Court on 27 and 28 May 2023. With world-class headliners ready to kickstart summer, over two days of the bank holiday weekend, this really is one not to miss!
This year’s juicy line up is yet another diverse offering of fresh talent and household names in the world of dance music and beyond. We've come to rely on such great programming from the festival in its glorious ten years and counting. The headliners show the breadth the event has to offer. On Saturday it's big beats from Fatboy Slim, the best in drum & bass from Andy C, solid house grooves from Michael Bibi, grime from D Double E and more. On Sunday there is life-affirming pop from Years & Years, brilliantly eclectic raving from Four Tet, original jungle and drum & bass by Shy FX, and the iconic girl group Sugababes in their original format.
“I'm thrilled for Sugababes to be joining us at Ashton Court in 2023, it's been a remarkable comeback for one of the most loved British pop groups"
With only one month to go, excitement is building for the festival that brings together thousands of music lovers with disco, garage, house, drum & bass, grime, UK funky, hip hop, dub, reggae, and indie pop across stages that each have a unique visual identity paired with unforgettable production.
On Saturday the main stage Love Saves will host Fatboy Slim, famous for his brand of smiley faced big beat, and an antidote to dance music that takes itself too seriously. Andy C, fresh from the Centre Stage last year, lends his weight to bring heavy hitting drum & bass from across the spectrum, whilst new jungle beats will be courtesy of the unstoppable Nia Archives. Hip-hop crossover queen Kelis will bring over 20 years of hits, and The Sugababes amplify the Y2K nostalgia. Mutya, Keisha and Siobhan have delivered countless anthems over their 25 years that have been as home on a dance floor as the radio that will surely get the crowd singing along. On Sunday it’s Years & Years who will be spreading the love in the headline position, while Folamour brings his feel-good electronica.
Brand new for this year, and with a diverse schedule of acts from different corners of dance music that will raise the roof, is the Big Top. Koven, Sub Focus b2b Dimension, Four Tet, Overmono and Eliza Rose and more will play over the weekend. Hybrid Minds and Tempza on mic duties will take the reins on Friday, and Bristol's RUN are back this year to offer Saturday’s festival goers their acclaimed approach to line-up curation that will satisfy every drum & bass head.
The Blast take over The Brouhaha, with Shy FX setting it off on Sunday on the bill with Clipz, Dread MC, Kings of the Rollers and Inja to shake the foundations of this jungle hacienda oasis. The beautiful people at the Paradiso stage will be treated to Kettama, one of the most interesting acts in atmospheric dance music right now, and Salute brings their eclectic mix of electro, pop and gospel.

Andy C and Hybrid Minds are some of the most iconic figures in global dance music and it’s going to be a highlight of the festival.” He continues,
