EDZ collective to curate late-night party testing the limits of speed and stillness in the rave at ICA London

International collective EDZ (Eternal Dragonz) has invited Flora Yin Wong, Organ Tapes, Tzekin and x/o to test the limits of speed and stillness in the rave at London's ICA in August.

The LA-founded record label and artist collective is curating the next in the monthly minus one series at the ICA on Thursday, August 17th from 8pm.

Each guest will play multiple sets across the night, with a blend of djing with live performance, and testing the rhythm of going b2b.

They all bring unique styles to the show offering a global perspective. London's Flora Yin Wong is a sound artist who uses rudimentary field recordings and granular synthesis, underpinned by influences from club culture.

Organ Tapes of London and Shanghai is characterised by layered guitar loops, midi instrumentation, field recordings and autotune vocals.

Tzekin is a musician and saxophonist from Sydney whose music dissects rnb and k-pop through trance music, highways and the ocean

x/o is Veron Xio, a Vietnamese-Canadian electronic music producer, dj, vocalist and multidisciplinary artist based in Vancouver.

All four will benefit from minus one's DIY approach of experimenting with different configurations in the ICA Theatre, providing a hybrid format with a focus on both dancing and listening together.
