Roundhouse Rising Festival

Roundhouse Rising Festival has partnered with five-piece, genre-hopping band Easy Life for this year's event.

Leicester-based indie/R&B Easy Life will take on the role of guest curator, programming a full takeover with their favourite new artists on Saturday, 14th October, alongside a headline show in the Camden venue's main space.

Head of Music at Roundhouse, Lucy Wood, said: “We're so happy to have Easy Life as our curators for Rising Festival this year; their songs and lyrics really speak to their generation, and their love of all kinds of music was clear from the start.

"They're keen to support the next generation of talent, including young people from the Roundhouse's creative programmes. We're also excited to be earmarking even more performance slots for Roundhouse talent than ever before. Watch this space for more exciting announcements!"

Alongside Easy Life, names confirmed for Roundhouse Rising include trumpet ensemble Poppy Daniels Collective, COLECTIVA who explore Afro-Latin music and jazz while reflecting on themes of sisterhood and female empowerment, and London-based duo Wooze with their blend of electro-pop.

Easy Life and The Roundhouse are looking for the most exciting emerging artists to perform at this year's festival between Wednesday, October 12th and Friday, October 14th. Apply before August 14th here.

Tickets launch to Roundhouse members today (July 13th), and go on general sale from tomorrow (July 14). For details go to roundhouse.org.uk.
