Solstice Solidarity Synthesis returns to The Old Church in Stoke Newington

Drum & Lace, Sink, Luke Elliott, Kate Fleur Young, and Elisa will soundtrack a night of ambient, experimental, and electronic music in celebration of the summer solstice.

The Solstice Solidary Synthesis returns to The Old Church in Stoke Newington on Thursday, July 3rd, this time with a summer edition to mark the longest days of 2025 and raise money for Mermaids.

Topping the bill is Drum & Lace. Their music takes inspiration from the natural world and is scattered with field recordings, so expect electronia of an organic nature with lush layers of synths.

Sink's music finds beauty in blemishes and melodies hidden beneath grit and noise. Expect songs infused with pop and experimentalism, rooted in impressionism and folk.

On Luke Elliott's most recent release, On Every Somewhere, they utilized sampling and re-sampling, modular and analog synthesizers to construct a buoyant and effervescent dreamworld.

Kate Fleur Young is a sound artist and musician known for live performances that incorporate ritual and ceremony, inspiring audiences to reconnect with the mind and body and a deeper resonance to the planet.

Elisa completes the line-up with a DJ set.
