London venue the ICA will bring together more than 60 publishers for a weekend of exhibitions, talks and workshops in September.
GLUE will run on Saturday, September 13th and Sunday, September 14th to celebrate artists, publishers and DIY book makers within visual arts and contemporary culture.
The weekend programme include an exhibition with Hot Potato, founded by Naoise O’Keeffe and new work from photographer Sana Badri.
There will be drop-in bookbinding and zine-making workshops by Toe Press, a collective run by Tati El Mallah and Marci Lewis and a self-portrait workshop with Different Gravy Studio run by Alex Picasso and Louie Stewart.
The talks programme will explore urgent conversations including social housing with Verso, new artistic and curatorial practices with Valiz, artist readings with Montez Press, queer publishing and zine-making with Prim and the launch of Effects Journal’s newest issue Holes.
There will also be a special ICA archive sale with iconic film posters, archive zines and resources.
