This year's awards were handed out at London's Roundhouse on Wednesday, September 24th.
Gilles Peterson landed ‘Outstanding Contribution to Music’, Cosey Fanni Tutti received the ‘Innovator’ award’, ‘Best Independent Album’ went to Fontaines D.C. for Romance, and Ezra Collective picked up ‘Best Independent Track’ for 'God Gave Me Feet For Dancing' featuring Yazmin Lacey.
The 'One To Watch’ award went to BINA. with other awards for corto.alto ('UK Independent Breakthrough'), MRCY ('Best Independent EP/Mixtape'), Bon Iver ('Best Creative Campaign'), Bricknasty ('Best Independent Video'), and Shed Seven ('Best Live Performer').
XL Recordings won ‘Best Independent Label’ and Key Production’s Karen Emanuel was named ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’.
