Somerset House Studios reveal Assembly programme

Somerset House Studios’ biannual experimental sound and music series Assembly returns from Thursday, Match 26th to Saturday, March 28th.

The three days will feature live performances, audio-led explorations, and conversations by leading practitioners across sound and contemporary art at the London venue.

The series kicks off on Thursday with the opening of Laurel Halo and Hanne Lippard’s exhibition Sour Loop running until April.

In the evening, there will be live performances of Ellen Arkbro's For Crumhorns and Regal with London Crumhorn Consort and Raheel Khan's Oh Forewarn.

Friday brings more live performances from felicita with czysta forma and Hannan Jones & Samir Kennedy's Relay.

Saturday's full day of events include performances and talks involving Seyi Adelekun, Daniel Oduntan & Audio Visual Ensemble, Jasleen Kaur, Onyeka Igwe, Test Dept, Ain Bailey, Appau Jnr Boakye-Yiadom, DeForrest Brown Jr, Trevor Mathison, Mark Fell & Mohammad Reza Mortazavi, Hanne Lippard & Renato Grieco, DeForrest Brown, Jr, and Trevor Mathison.
