London's Koko to celebrate 125 year anniversary

A new recording studio, expanded electronic music line-ups, and creative experiences will help Koko continue to entertain 125 years since opening.

The historic Camden theatre first opened its doors in 1901, and it remains an independent venue blending heritage with cutting-edge technology.

Koko now comprises three venues and sixteen curated rooms within the House of Koko, each offering a unique programme of music, DJ sets, and cultural experiences.

The building also features a hidden jazz club, vinyl listening rooms, a roof terrace restaurant, gallery spaces, Michelin-starred culinary offerings, and a 300-piece art collection.

The new recording studio in the House of Koko’s Penthouse offers artists and members a space for recording, songwriting, and podcasting.

The space will also support the Koko Foundation and its Arts Academy, nurturing emerging talent and community engagement.

To help mark the anniversary, Koko Electronic will host acts such as Arman Van Helden, Uncle Waffles, Beltran b2b Ben Sterling, Jazzy Jeff, Paco Osuna, and Desiree.

Highlight takeover include the DJ Tunez and Marvo Weekender, Zsongo Weekender with Ayra Starr, and Acid House Palace with Paranoid London.
