London's The Cause to launch festival and broadcast plaftform New Frequency

A new festival-scale event and broadcast platform celebrating independent radio, community-led broadcasters, and global underground music cultures launches at London's The Cause this summer.

The Cause FM: New Frequency on Saturday, July 25th will see a multi-stage event hosted at the Docklands venue with partners such as Refuge Worldwide (Germany), Keep Hush (UK), Seoul Community Radio (South Korea), Headstream by Potato Head (Indonesia), and Voices (UK).

New Frequency invites the hand-picked selection of global radio stations, streamers, and community platforms to co-curate and host their own spaces across the venue.

Every takeover will be broadcast via a dedicated online channel and website, allowing audiences around the world to tune into the event in real time.

The project marks the first chapter in a wider broadcasting vision from The Cause team, with streamed events and international collaborations incoming for the venue's new broadcast platform planned later this year.
